I know it’s a bit “risque,” but did you notice the album covers for Blondie, Nina Hagen, Laurie Anderson, Lou Reed and Peter, Paul and Mary? This semi nude man has a real taste for music. (well, at leat the photog does!)

I still buy records. I still play records. Most of all I still love records.

The age of digital music has certainly made it easier to store your collection. You can find a song and pretty much instantly play anything you want to hear.
However, there is a certain joy to leafing through your vinyl and coming across something you’d forgotten you had, pulling it out and placing it on the turntable. The sound of the stylus hitting the LP and making a couple popping sounds, before starting the song, that takes you back to the time you heard it and had to rush to the local record store to buy it.

Today, record stores sell more than just records to stay in business. You can find anything from books, posters and t-shirts, to soda and candy.

If you like music, and I know that you do, stop into your local record store today. You’ll find something interesting. I know you will.
